NOTE
If exhaust valve components are
damaged to where replacement is
not sufficient by using head repair
kit,
replacement
head
is
recommended.
If compressor has been used to
where rings, bearings and seals
need replacing, use repair kits.
(2)
Remove two bolts (1) holding governor (2) to cylinder
head. Remove the governor (2)
(3)
Remove and discard gasket (3).
CAUTION
Be extremely careful to avoid scratching
machined surfaces.
(4)
Clean both gasket surfaces and inspect each for
damage.
(5)
Remove two air cleaner mounting bolts (4). Remove the
air cleaner (5).
(6)
Remove and discard air cleaner gasket (6).
(7)
Clean gasket surfaces and inspect for damage.
(8)
Remove two 7/16" hex-head unloader cover bolts (7) and
one 9/16" hex-head cylinder head bolt (8) located at top of
cylinder head.
(9)
Remove unloader cover (9). Unloader O-ring (10) and end
of pins (1 l) will protrude from head.
