Assembly.
NOTE
Each valve should be installed in same bore from which valve was removed.
When dry, check that all lockup cutoff valves move freely in their bores.
Apply lubricating oil (item 1 0, Appendix E) to all parts.
(1) Apply lubricating oil to valve body (2).
(2) Install valve (12) and valve plug (1 1) in bore (13).
(3) Install retainer pin (1 0) in valve body (2).
(4) Install valve (8) and valve plug (7) in bore (9).
(5) Install retainer pin (6) in valve body (2).
(6) Install valve (4) and valve plug (3) in bore (5).
(7) Install retainer pin (1) in valve body (2).

Installation. Install valve (1) with eight screws (2) in transmission (3). Torque screws to 108 to 132 lb-in. (1
2 to 1 5 N-m).

Follow-on Maintenance. Install internal filter element (see para 6-54).
