There must be O.005-in. (0.13 mm) clearance between cam
follower guide and cam follower.

Insert 0.005 in. (0.13 mm) feeler gauge between cam follower guide (1 0) and legs of cam
followers (8).

If there is not enough clearance, loosen screws (11), move guide (10), and repeat steps (9) and
(10).

Install exhaust valve bridge (see para 6-24).
(2)
Install rocker arms (see para 6-21).
(3)
Install cylinder head (see para 6-13).
