17. Lightly score inner jacket (35) 3.25 in. (82.5 mm) back from end of heat trace cable (10).
18. Peel off inner jacket (35) from two heat trace cable bus wires (5).
19. Cut and remove all fiber strands (36) from two heat trace cable bus wires (5).
20. Score center spacer (37) with utility knife and remove.
21. Clean heat trace cable bus wires (5).

22. Hold heat trace braid (7) pigtail against inner jacket (35), and wrap glass tape (28) three times around heat
trace cable (10) and heat trace braid (7).
23. Separate heat trace braid (7) from heat trace cable (10), and wrap glass tape (28) two times around heat trace
braid (7).
24. Slide grommet (25) to edge of glass tape (28).
