Fire and shock hazard. This heat-tracing system must be installed correctly to
ensure proper operation and to prevent shock and fire.
NOTE
Install cable ties as needed.
Perform Steps (1) through (7) to install heat trace cable in end seal.
1.
Slide pressure plate (33) and grommet (32) on heat trace cable (10).
2.
Apply three wraps of glass tape (28) 1 in. (25.4 mm) from end of heat trace cable (10).

3.
Lightly score outer jacket (34) with utility knife 0.75 in. (19 mm) from end of heat trace cable (10).
4.
Bend heat trace cable (10) to break outer jacket (34) at score.
5.
Remove exposed heat trace braid (7) from heat trace cable (10).

6.
Push heat trace cable (10) completely in end seal body (31).
7.
Seat grommet (32) and tighten two screws (29) to tighten pressure plate (33).
