Allow engine to completely cool before handling any cooling system component or
hose. Failure to comply can result in serious injury to personnel.
1.
Remove connector (1) from coolant temperature sensor (2).
2.
Remove coolant temperature sensor (2) and performed packing (3) from adapter (4). Discard preformed
packing.
