Place bearing installer tool handle (Appendix B, Section III, Item 62) over bearing installer tool.

Drive bearing (6) down until seated.
(7)
Remove bearing installer tool.
(8)
Install spacer (7) over ground sleeve (5) on pump (3).
(9)
Install retaining ring (8) on ground sleeve (5).
(10) Coat pump hub (3) and hub area (9) with lubricating oil (Item 10, Appendix E).

Follow-on Maintenance.
(1)
Install torque converter stator into torque converter housing (see para 6-49).
