(2) Remove three air box covers (2, 3, and 4), two gaskets (5), and gasket (6).
b. Installation.
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds
can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors,
and are harmful to skin and clothing. To avoid
injury or death, keep away from open fire and
use in well-ventilated area. If adhesive,
solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or
clothing, wash immediately with soap and
water.
(1) Coat two gaskets (1) and gasket (2) with
adhesive-sealant (Item 35, Appendix E)
and install on engine block (3).
(2) Install three air box covers (4, 5, and 6)
engine block (3) with seven screws (7).
Tighten screws to 96 to 144 lb-in.
(11 to 16 N.m).
