Install end plate (2) on dowel pins (5).

Install four screws (7) and lockwashers (8).
Tighten screws finger tight.

Install screw (9) and lockwasher (10).
Tighten screw finger tight.
NOTE
Special washer is installed in same direction as noted
during removal.

Install special washer (11) on screw (12)
with grooved side facing head of screw.

Install dummy hub (13), special washer
(11), and screw (12). Tighten screw finger
tight.
(9)
Install right bank camshaft end bearing
(14) into end plate (2).
(10)
Torque four screws (7) to 30 to 35 lb-ft (41
to 47 Nm).

Torque screw (9) to 103 to 1 10 lb-ft (140
to 149 Nm).
(12)
Tighten screw (12) to 80 to 90 !b-ft (108 to
122 Nm).

Remove camshaft end bearing (14).
c. Follow-on maintenance.

Install idler gear (see para 6-35).
