Adjustment.
NOTE
Whenever a sensor assembly on a pulse wheel is replaced the
sensor must be aligned in relationship to the teeth on the pulse
wheel.
(1) Refer to injector removal procedures in para 6-43 and remove the one-right (IR) injector.
(Passenger side of engine - front of engine).
CAUTION
Failure to insert the spacer could result in damage to the dial
indicator if the piston is already at the top of travel when the tool
is installed.
(2) Install the slotted spacer on the chain between the dial indicator and the top of the holder. Tighten
the clamp screw.
