housing (8).
NOTE
Center support housing is fitted to transmission housing with very little
clearance and may bind if transmission housing is cold. Heat transmission
housing with heat lamp or warm current of air.
If support housing starts upward and then binds, tap center support housing
downward and lift again.

Lifting straight up, remove center support housing (8) and thrust washer (9) from transmission
housing (10).
