Position rear cover (1) on side. Use wooden block for support.

Remove output shaft (7) from rear cover (1).

Press output shaft (7) from bearing (8), spacer (9), and speedometer drive gear (I0).

Remove bushing (11) from output shaft (7).

Screw long screw (12) into small orifice plug (13). Pry up on screw to remove plug.
