(22) Install backplate (29).
(23) Install screw (30). Torque screw 10 to 15 Ib-ft (14 to 20 Nm).
(24) Check clearance between backplate (29), drive gear (27), and driven gear (25). Maximum clearance
is 0.006 in. (0.15 mm).
(25) Turn oil pump (28) over.
(26) Apply lubricating oil (Item 10, Appendix E) to rubber lip of oil seal (31) and install oil seal in oil pump
(28).
