Remove two bolts (7) and nuts (8) to remove groove lock coupling (9) and gasket (10) from rear
auxiliary suction plumbing. Discard gasket (10).
(4)
Remove twelve bolts (11) securing suction manifold (12) to pump.
(5)
Remove suction manifold (12) and gasket (13). Discard gasket (13).
NOTE
Install piping and plugs in new manifold as needed.
b. Installation.
(1)
Using new gasket (13), attach suction manifold (12) to pump body with twelve bolts (11). Torque to
85 lb ft (115 N.m).
(2)
Using new gasket (10), install groove lock coupling (9) with two bolts (7) and nuts (8) in rear
auxiliary suction plumbing.
(3)
Use large pipe wrench to install pipe (5) in elbow (6).
(4)
Install U-bolt (3) with two washers (2) and nuts (1) in rear auxiliary suction clamp (4).

Follow-on Maintenance.
(1)
Connect batteries (see para 4-114).
