REMOVAL

CAUTION
Do not cut heat tape when removing insulation from plumbing. Damage to
electrical wires in heat tape may occur.
NOTE
If reusing original insulation, do not cut along glued seam when cutting insulation off of
plumbing.
Use a very sharp long blade knife to cut insulation.
Make long strokes with knife for best results.
The cut must be clean and not ragged for best results when gluing back together.

Cut insulation (1) with knife.
2.
Remove insulation (1) from plumbing (2).
