Remove screw (8), lockwasher (9), and wire 2852 (10) from thermostat (11). Discard lockwasher.

Remove locknut (12) and terminal (13) from screw (14). Discard locknut.
6.
Remove two locknuts (15), cushion clip (16), two screws (17), and base (18) from box (4). Discard locknuts.
7.
Remove two locknuts (19), screws (14), and thermostat (11) from base (18). Discard locknuts.
