Remove heater cover (5) from tank heater (6).
NOTE
Tag and mark wires prior to removal to ensure proper installation.

Cut wire (7) (TM 9-2320-325-14&P).
4.
Remove screw (8), wire lug (9), and wire (10) from post (11).

Remove nut (12), washer (13), and wire (14) from post (15).
6.
Remove nut (16), washer (17), and wire (18) from post (19).
7.
Remove collar (20), grommet (21), and cable (22) from fitting (23).
8.
Remove tank heater (6) from tank (24).

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Front and rear tank heaters are installed the same way. Front tank heater shown.
Apply nut locking grade sealant to threads of fasteners.
Install tank heaters with power cable at 9 o'clock position as shown.
1.
Install tank heater (6) in tank (24).
2.
Install cable (22) in tank heater (6), and clamp with grommet (21) and collar (20) on fitting (23).
3.
Install wire (18) on post (19) with washer (17) and nut (16).
4.
Install wire (14) on post (15) with washer (13) and nut (12).
5.
Install wire (10) and wire lug (9) on post (11) with screw (8).
