(5) Attach a hoist at the mid-point of the upper mid-section and slide it out away from the lower mid-
section.
(6) At front of lower mid-section, loosen jam nuts (12) and back out adjusting screws (13) for wear pads
(14). Remove two bolts (15), lockwashers (16), and flatwashers (16A). Remove and discard vertical
wear pads (14). Horizontal wear pads (14A) may be lifted out.
(7) At rear of upper mid-section, remove screws (18), washers (19) and retainers (20) and remove
horizontal wear pads (21). Rear vertical wear pads will fall out during ladder section removal.
