Lower Mid-Section Disassembly.
(1) Remove fly and upper mid-sections (see para a. and b.).
(2) Remove water pipe as applicable (see para 4-201).
(3) Remove retaining rings (2), flatwashers (2A), pins (3) and rernove sheaves (4) and cables (1).
Remove retaining rings (5) and clevis pins (6) and remove cables (1) from two dead end lugs (7) as
required at rear end of lower mid-section. Disconnect cables at cable dead end plates at front end of
lower mid-section.
