Remove screws (27), lockwashers (28) and retainers (29) from rear end of fly section. Remove
horizontal wear pads (30). Rear vertical wear pads will fall out during removal of ladder.

Remove spotlights (see para 4-177).

Remove intercom speaker/microphone (see para 4-198).

Remove monitor and nozzle controls (see para 4-203).

Remove pike pole (31) from pike pole holders (32). Remove two pike pole holders (32) by
removing brackets (32A), two each by head capscrews (33), flatwashers (34), lockwashers (35)
and acorn nuts (36).
