WARNING
Serious injury could occur if heavy equipment is moved/lifted
without sufficient personnel to do the job. Use proper physical
lifting procedures or use a suitable lifting device or dolly. Wear
safety shoes, gloves and other suitable protective clothing.
Ladder sections weigh approximately one ton each. Area should
be clear of other personnel. Serious injury or death can result
from falling objects.

Attach a hoist at mid-point of the fly section and slide fly section from mid-section.

At top of upper mid-section, loosen jam nuts (22) and back out side wear pads adjusting screws
(23). Remove two bolts (24), lockwashers (25) and flatwashers (25A). Remove and discard
vertical wear pads (26).  Horizontal wear pads (26A) may be lifted out after fly section is
removed.
