Hydraulic Oil (Item 28, Appendix E)
Emery Cloth (item 25, Appendix E)
Seal Kit (Figure 196, Appendix F)
Nylon Plug (Figure 196, Appendix F)
a. Disassembly
NOTE
Discard all O-rings and seals.
(1) Remove set screw (1 ) from tube assembly (2).
(2) Use spanner wrench to turn gland (3) counterclockwise until free from tube assembly (2).
(3) Remove gland (3), rod (4), and piston (5) as an assembly.
(4) Unscrew piston (5) from rod (4).
