(15) Lift port plate (20) off of two roll pins (21) and out of pump housing (2).
(16) Pull barrel bushing (21A) from pump housing (2).
(17) Remove and discard O-ring (22).
(18) Hold nut (23) to loosen jam nut (24); then loosen nut (23).
(19) Unscrew plug (25) to remove it with adjustable R/V seat (26) and adjusting stem (27).
(20) Remove two nuts (23 and 24) and RN seat (26) from stem (27).
(21) Withdraw adjusting stem (27) with O-rings (28) and back-up rings (29) and locking tab (65) from plug

(22) Remove and discard two O-rings (28) and their back-up rings (29) and O-rings (30 and 31).
(23) Withdraw dart (31) and pressure spring (32) from pump housing (2).
(24) Unscrew and remove plug (33) for access to torque plug (34); then withdraw torque plug with O-ring
(28A) and back-up ring (29A) from pump housing (2).
(25) Remove O-ring (28A) and back-up ring (29A) from torque plug (34). Discard them.
(26) Use a drift pin to tap out ball (35).
(27) Remove differential cap (36) with O-ring (37), piston (38) and shims (39).
(28) Remove and discard O-ring (37).
(29) Remove piston (38) with shims (39) from differential cap (36).
(30) Remove shims (39) from piston (38).
(31) Measure shims and note quantity and thickness of each (either .005" or .010") (.127 to .254 mm).
(32) Withdraw modulator spring (40) and spring retainer (41) from housing (2).
(33) Unscrew and remove plug (33A) from air bleed assembly (42).
(34)Unscrew and remove air bleed assembly (42) with O-ring (37A) from housing (2).
NOTE
If air bleed assembly (42) needs its ball and/or spring replaced,
the entire air bleed assembly must be replaced because the ball
is staked in place.
(35) Remove and discard O-ring (37A).
(36) Withdraw spool sleeve (43) and spool (44) from housing (2); carefully withdraw spool from sleeve.
