EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Main Hydraulic Pump Removed (see para 5-61.)
a. Disassembly.
NOTE
Discard all O-rings and seals.
(1)
Remove fill plug (1) from top of pump housing (2).
(2)
Remove drain plug (3) with seal ring (4) from trunnion housing (5).
(3)
Remove and discard seal ring (4).
(4)
Drain residual hydraulic fluid into a clean container and retain for inspection.
(5)
Remove six hex socket head screws (6) to separate trunnion housing (5) from pump housing (2).
(6)
Remove two retaining rings (7) from trunnion housing (5).
(7)
Remove two trunnion caps (8) with O-rings (9) from trunnion housing (5).
(8)
Remove and discard two O-rings (9).
(9)
Withdraw trunnion pin (10) from swash plate (11) to free swash plate (11).
(10)
Withdraw two needle bearings (12) and remove two thrust washers (13) from trunnion caps (8).

Remove slipper retainer (14) with seven piston assemblies (15) from barrel (16) in pump housing
(2).
(12)
Withdraw seven piston assemblies (15) from slipper retainer (14).
(13)
Remove ball seat (17), barrel spring (18), and washer (19) from bore in barrel (16).
(14)
Withdraw barrel (16) from pump housing (2).
