a. Removal.
(1) Remove two screws (1) and lockwashers (2), four screws (3) and lockwashers (4), and two screws (5)
and lockwashers (6).
(2) Strike the edges of the front cover (7) with a soft hammer to free cover from dowel pins. Pull cover
assembly straight off the end of the crankshaft.
