Install eight new compression gaskets (6) in cylinders (7).

Install new oil hole seals (8) and new water hole seals (9) in 34 counterbored holes (10) of each
side of engine block (3).

Install four shims (11) one at each end of the cylinder head contact surface of each side of
engine block (3).
(8)
Install new gasket (12) and water inlet cover plate on right front side of engine block (3) with
two screws (13), nuts (14), and four lockwashers (15).
