Remove screw (7) and lockwasher (8) from adapter (9) and engine (10). Discard lockwasher.

Remove four screws (11), lockwashers (12), adapter (9), and gasket (13) from engine (10). Discard
lockwashers and gasket.

NOTE
Perform Steps (6) through (19) if installing a new steering pump.
Fittings removed from steering pump will need to be installed on new steering pump.
Note position of elbows prior to removal to ensure proper installation.

Remove elbow (4) from body (14).
7.
Remove elbow (6) and preformed packing (15) from cover (16). Discard preformed packing.
