Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily. To avoid serious injury or death,
keep fuel away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when
working with fuel. Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot. Fuel can be
ignited by hot engine. When working with fuel, post signs that read NO SMOKING
WITHIN 50 FEET of vehicle.
NOTE
Front and rear pickup tube assemblies are removed the same way. Front pickup tube
assembly shown.
1.
Remove clamp (1) and hose (2) from pickup tube assembly (3).
CAUTION
Hold pickup tube assembly after removing nut until assembly is removed from tank
to prevent assembly from falling in tank.
2.
Remove nut (4) from pickup tube assembly (3).
