Wear safety goggles and use car when removing springs. Springs are under
tension and can act as projectiles when released causing injury to personnel and
damage to equipment.

Open water tank vent/fill handle (8) and remove spring (9) from U-bolt (10).
3.
Remove locknut (11), two washers (12), screw (13), and spring (9) from water tank vent/fill flange (6). Discard
locknut.
