Install governor pressure tap plug (4).
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily,
can give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin and
clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire and
use in well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing
compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap
and water.

Coat outside of oil seal (5) with sealing and lubricating compound (item 31, Appendix E) and install oil
seal in transmission housing (6) using manual shaft oil seal remover and installer.

Install manual shaft (7) by pushing shaft through oil seal (5) in transmission housing (6).
(7)
Position detent lever (8) in transmission housing (6).
(8)
Install locknut (9) on manual shaft (7).
(9)
Torque locknut (9) to 15 to 20 Ib-ft (20 to 27 Nm).
(10) Install cotter pin (10).
