If feeler gauge larger than 0.01 0 in. (0.25 mm) will
fit under straight edge, replace backplate (2).

Place straight edge on piston (3).

If feeler gauge larger than 0.01 0 in. (0.25 mm) will
fit under straight edge, replace piston (3).
d. Assembly.
NOTE
Discard old seals and install new seals when assembling
unit.

Coat bearing shaft (1) and bearing (2) with
lubricating oil (Item 10, Appendix E).
(2)
Seat bearing (2) on bearing shaft (1) with
identification number up.
(3)
Press bearing (2) on bearing shaft (1).
(4)
Coat outside of hub (3) with lubricating oil (Item 10,

Apply lubricating oil (Item 10, Appendix E) to seal ring (4)
and install seal ring in outer groove on hub (3).
