(3) Mark screw (7), washer (8) and clamp (9) with injector location. Remove screw, washer and clamp
and remove fuel injector (3) from cylinder head. Remove remaining injectors in the same manner.
(4) Place a cover over injector opening in cylinder head to prevent entrance of foreign matter.
b. Cleaning and Inspection.
WARNING
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 is potentially dangerous. Avoid
repeated and prolonged breathing of vapors and skin contact
with the liquid. Do not use near open flame, arcing equipment or
other ignition sources. Always wear eye protection and
protective clothing. The flash point of P-D-680 is 1 00 to 138
deg. F (38 to 59 deg. C).
