(4) Install supply brake (2) and drone (5) with mounting screws (8) through rocker arm shaft (9) to cylinder
head (1 0). Tighten screws (8) in two steps, first to a torque of 45 lb ft (61 N.m) then tighten to a final
torque of 88 to 92 lb ft (1 19 to 124 N.m).
(5) Move master piston fork assembly (6) up and down several times to make sure it rides freely on
injector rocker clevis (7).
(6) Unscrew connector (3) until connector covers seal ring (1) and makes contact with surface of supply
brake (2). Hold connector (3) in position and tighten nut (4) against drone (5).
NOTE
Engine brake wiring harness is installed in left and right cylinder
heads in the same manner.
(7) Install wiring harness by installing bushing (11) in cylinder head. Install spacer (12) and terminals (13)
on two fuel tubes (14).
