(6) Apply oil (Item 10, Appendix E) to new seals (12, 13 and 14). Install oil seal (12) in housing (3). Install
seals (13 and 14) on solenoid (15). Install solenoid (15) in housing (3).
(7) Install setscrew (1 6) and nut (1 7) on solenoid housing.
(8) Apply oil (Item 10, Appendix E) to control valve (18) and install control valve and springs (19 and 20) in
supply housing (3).
WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily,
can give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin and
clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open tire and
use in well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing
compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap
and water.
(9) Apply sealing and lubricating compound (Item 31, Appendix E) to screw (21). Install cover (22) on
supply housing (3). Secure cover with screw (21). Tighten screw to a torque of 110 lb in (12 N-m).
