Turn azimuth knob (6) until 3200 mils appears on deflection counter (7).

Release deflection counter eccentric (8).
6.
Turn azimuth knob (6) until 3200 mils appears on azimuth counter (9).

Engage deflection counter eccentric (8).

Looking through eyeshield (10), turn elevation knob (11) until horizontal reticle line is centered on
collimator reticle target.
9.
Check that vertical reticle line is centered on collimator reticle target. If not centered, turn azimuth
counter to 3200 mils with backlash eliminated and release azimuth counter eccentric (12).
10.
Turn azimuth knob (6) until vertical reticle line is centered on collimator reticle target and engage
azimuth counter eccentric (12).
