(f) Alternately open and close self-sealing screw
holes so one hole is open and other is closed every 15 min-
utes.
(g) Purge until humidity indicator is blue. During
purge, lubricate self-sealing screw preformed packing light-
ly with silicone compound.
(h) Close pressure regulator (CCW) and reinstall
two self-sealing screws.
(i) Remove desiccant cap and insert new desiccant
from sealed package immediately into desiccant container.
(j) Lubricate preformed packing on desiccant cap
lightly with grease or silicone compound and reinstall cap.
Torque cap to 20 to 30 lb in. (2 to 3 Nm).
(k) Slowly open regulator valve (CW) and charge
lower section for 10 seconds to value given in ambient air
temperature chart in para 3-10.q.
(l) Close nitrogen tank valve. Remove hose and
valve extension and install dust cap.
