Springs, retaining rings, and snap rings are under extreme spring tension and can
act as projectiles when being removed. Ensure all personnel wear protective
goggles. Failure to comply could result in serious injury to personnel.
CAUTION
Fifty-seven ball bearings are positioned between drive socket and roof pot. Care
must be taken when removing drive socket from roof pot not to lose ball bearings.
NOTE
Roof pot must be positioned with roof pot mounting flange setting on work bench.
13. Remove ring (37), drive socket (2), and 57 ball bearings (38) from roof pot (35).
14. Remove snap ring (39) and lock pin (40) from drive socket (2). Discard snap ring.
