NOTE
Elbow is removed from reducer by removing ball bearings through plug openings.
21. Remove two plugs (39) and 29 ball bearings (40) from elbow (41).
22. Remove elbow (41) from reducer (18).
23. Remove preformed packing (42), plug (43), and grease fitting (44) from elbow (41). Discard preformed
packing.
24. Remove bearing (45), three preformed packings (46), (47), and (48), screw (49), and spacer (50) from
reducer (18). Discard preformed packings.
END OF TASK
ASSEMBLY
1.
Install spacer (50), screw (49), three preformed packings (48), (47), and (46), and bearing (45) on
reducer (18).
2.
Install grease fitting (44), plug (43), and preformed packing (42) on elbow (41).
NOTE
Elbow is installed on reducer by installing ball bearings through plug openings.
3.
Position reducer (18) on elbow (41) and install 29 ball bearings (40) and two plugs (39) on elbow (41).
