Do not extend end plate tube too far out of rear hard lift tube. End plate tube is
heavy and may come out of rear hard lift tube and drop suddenly causing injury to
personnel.
2.
Pull end plate tube (3) out and rotate until bushing (4) on end plate tube (3) is pointing toward top center of
vehicle.

Push end plate tube (3) in and align hole (5) in rear hard lift tube (6) with hole (7) in end plate tube (3).
4.
Install lock pin (1) in rear hard lift tube (6) and end plate tube (3).

Do not stand between vehicle and rear hard lift assembly or under hard lift
assembly when removing hard lift assembly from brackets. Hard lift assembly may
swing toward vehicle or fall causing injury to personnel.
Hard lift assembly weighs approximately 1,000 lb. (454 kg). Attach a suitable lifting
device prior to removal or installation to prevent possible injury to personnel.
All personnel must stand clear during lifting operations. A swinging or shifting load
may cause death or injury to personnel.
5.
Attach suitable lifting device to rear hard lift assembly (2).
