NOTE
Perform Steps (15) through (18) to adjust outer rod.
15. Remove cotter pin (4), pin (5), and outer rod (24) from door lock connecting lever (2). Discard cotter pin.
16. Loosen jamnut (23) and turn outer rod (24) clockwise to shorten, counterclockwise to lengthen.
17. Tighten jamnut (23) and install outer rod (24) on door lock connecting lever (2).
18. Check outer door handle (14) operation. Repeat Steps (15) through (17) if necessary.
19. Pull cable (22) tight and install clevis (25) on door lock connecting lever (2) with pin (5) and cotter pin (4).
20. Check inner door handle (17) operation.
