Crew cab weighs 2,000 lb. (908 kg). Care must be taken when lifting and removing
crew cab from vehicle.
Crew cab must be lifted slowly and care must be taken so two heater hoses and two
hoses from compressor do not catch on crew cab floor or frame members.
Do not get under crew cab while it is supported by lifting device. Crew cab could
fall. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
When performing Steps (28) and (29), ensure hoses do not catch on cab floor or
frame. Failure to comply could result in damage to equipment.
28. With the aid of an assistant, raise crew cab (15) approximately 12 in. (30.5 cm).
29. With the aid of an assistant, remove two heater hoses (28) and (31) and hoses (33) and (36) from
compressor (35), expansion valve (38) and crew cab (15).
