CAUTION
After removing two heater hoses from valve and fittings, two heater hoses must be
pushed out of floor of crew cab as far as possible to allow for initial lifting of crew
cab. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
8.
Loosen clamp (27) and remove hose (28) from valve (29) and crew cab (15).
9.
Loosen clamp (30) and remove hose (31) from fitting (32) and crew cab (15).
CAUTION
Hose fittings are assembled with preformed packing. Do not lose preformed
packing when disconnecting hose fittings. Preformed packing must be installed on
hose fittings when assembling, or refrigerant will leak from fittings.
After removing two hoses from compressor and expansion valve, two hoses must
be pushed out of rear of cab as far as possible to allow for initial lifting of crew cab.
Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
10. Remove hose (33) and preformed packing (34) from compressor (35) and crew cab (15). Discard preformed
packing.
11. Remove hose (36) and preformed packing (37) from expansion valve (38) and crew cab (15). Discard
preformed packing.
