Removing elbow and valve from vehicle is awkward. Care must be taken to support
both elbow and valve when removing attaching hardware. Failure to comply may
result in damage to equipment or injury to personnel.

With the aid of an assistant, remove eight nuts (4), lockwashers (5), 16 washers (6), and eight screws (7) from
elbow (8) and valve (9). Discard lockwashers.
4.
With the aid of an assistant, remove elbow (8), gasket (10), valve (9) and gasket (11) from pipe (12) and
vehicle.
5.
Remove elbow (3) from elbow (8).
