NOTE
Exhaust fitting must be adjusted in order to slow the rate of bumper turret valve closure.
Proper rate of closure is three to five seconds.
16. Loosen jamnut (32) and screw in needle (33) on exhaust fitting (29).
17. Back needle (33) 1 and 1/2 turns.
18. Connect batteries (TM 9-2320-325-14&P).
19. Start engine (TM 9-2320-347-10).
20. Operate bumper turret (WP 0035).
NOTE
Adjusting needle valve clockwise allows valve to close faster.
21. Adjust needle (33) until bumper turret valve closure is between three to five seconds.
22. Stop engine (TM 9-2320-347-10).
23. Tighten jamnut (32) on needle (33) and exhaust fitting (29).
