b. Disassembly.
NOTE
Repeat steps (1) through (5) for disassembly of other camshaft.
(1)
Remove gear(1) from end of camshaft (2) using camshaft gear puller and remover.
(2)
Remove woodruff key (3) from end of camshaft (2).
(3)
Remove end bearing (4) with thrust washers (5) from end of camshaft (2).
NOTE
Tag and mark three camshaft bearings for later installation.
(4)
Remove six lockrings (6) and three camshaft intermediate bearings (7) from camshaft (2).
