Install shield to the underbody retainers
using the Door Trim Pad Remover Tool.

Install the wheelhouse panel to shield bolts.

Torque the fender to cowl bolt (4) to 31 ft-
lbs (43 N-m).

Torque the upper fender to door pillar bolt
(5) to 31 ft-lbs (43 N.m).

Install the hood spring assembly (paragraph

Install wheelhouse panel (paragraph 4-156).
