Secure M137/M137A2/M137A3 telescope (9) to optical instrument support (2).

Level cross-leveling fixture (10) and re-center the bubble in cross level vial and bubble in elevation
level vial. Refer to Mounting the M171/M171A1 Mount on Cross-Leveling Fixture, steps 13 through
20.
9.
Rotate azimuth knob (11) clockwise to 0000 mils. Align plumbline to M137/M137A2/M137A3 telescope
reticle.

Turn elevation knob (5) clockwise until it stops.
11.
Turn elevation knob (5) counterclockwise until it stops.
12.
Line of sight on M171/M171A1 mount (12) must not deviate over 0.5 mil (total spread). If deviation is
in excess of 0.5 mil, return to depot maintenance.
