ENSURE THAT THE VEHICLE MASTER
SWITCH AND THE PERISCOPE EMER-
GENCY SWITCH ARE IN THE OFF POSI-
TION. THE HIGH VOLTAGE AND LOW
AMPERAGE OF THE POWER PACK IS
NOT DANGEROUS; HOWEVER, IF THE
HIGH VOLTAGE PARTS ARE TAM-
PERED WITH, AN ELECTRICAL SHOCK
MAY RESULT.
Do not expose periscope to bright light; pro-
longed exposure may cause damage to image
conversion tube.
NOTE
Special plate assemblies are provided for purg-
ing and charging when the head assembly and
body assembly are separated. These plates are
also used for shipment and storage of the peri-
scope.
