FOLLOW-ON SERVICE
1. Return the fire detection panel and its sensors to the desired readiness condition.
2. CLOSE and secure the fire detection panel door.
3. Notify the appropriate personnel that the fire detection system testing has been completed and that subse-
quent alarms are not part of the test.
4. Make the appropriate log entries in DA Form 4640 (Harbor Boat Deck Department Log for Class A&B Ves-
sels) and DA Form 4993 (Harbor Boat Engine Department Log for Class A and C-1 Vessels) concerning the
fire detection system test.
