NOTE
Pushing throat assembly forward through nozzle body, removes throat assembly from
nozzle body.

Remove throat (3) from nozzle body (4).

Remove and discard preformed packing (5) from nozzle body (4).
NOTE
Number of spacers may vary. Note position of spacers prior to replacement to ensure
proper installation.
4.
Remove screw (6), baffle head (7), and spacer (8) from throat (3).
5.
Remove and discard preformed packing (9) from front plunger (10).
6.
Remove extension blade (2) and front plunger (10) from throat (3).
NOTE
Note position of set screws in holes of throat prior to replacement to ensure proper
installation.
7.
Remove four set screws (11) from throat (3).

WARNING

Springs, retaining rings, and snap rings are under extreme spring tension and can
act as projectiles when being removed. Ensure all personnel wear protective
goggles. Failure to comply could result in serious injury to personnel.
8.
Remove three screws (12), retaining ring (13), and turbine (14) from nozzle body (4). Discard retaining ring.
